THE BRIDGE OF TRUST; KIRABO’S STEADY HAND BEHIND THE SCENES
Dorothy Kirabo - Client Service Executive at MAAD McCann

Winning big at the 2025 Silverback Awards is always a team story, and at the heart of the GOtv success is a Client Service Executive who turns complexity into clarity and pressure into progress.

Working on a brand as dynamic as GOtv takes more than coordination - it requires empathy, resilience, and the rare ability to translate both client ambition and agency creativity into one smooth, forward-moving machine.

My role on the GOtv business has always been simple in principle but intricate in practice: make sure every idea is aligned, every deliverable is on track, and every conversation moves us closer to the goal.

From early-morning approval calls to late-night feedback cycles, my job is to keep the partnership strong and the momentum steady.

Campaigns like Your BFF - Best Football Friend and the award-winning Ka Weekie project demanded unwavering agility.

Managing expectations, guiding timelines, and ensuring every team - from Strategy to Creative to Production - was synchronised is where the real magic happens.

When the right people pull in the same direction, excellence becomes a natural outcome. Client service, for me, is not just stewardship - it is relationship-building.

It is understanding what matters most to the client, anticipating needs before they’re spoken, and creating a working rhythm where trust becomes the foundation.

The wins at the Silverbacks are proof of what a strong client-agency partnership can achieve.

The theme Elevating the Grind reflects what the Client Service discipline really is: the daily dedication that keeps big ideas on course.

I share this recognition with every teammate who pours their craft into the GOtv work. It is a privilege to be the bridge that supports their brilliance.

In the end, this role has taught me that service is the art of balancing people, timelines and ambition - and doing it with grace, clarity and a smile.

The awards may shine on stage, but the real victory is the partnership that made them possible.
